How does FalschParker work?

1. Get the app and create an account

Whether it's a space in a Berlin courtyard, the underground car park of your owners' association or a company car park: FalschParker is free for Android devices on Google Play or directly in your browser.

Type “FalschParker” into the store and install the app.

• Open an account with just a few details
• Sign the assignment declaration right inside the app
• You can start straight away

Why the assignment? It transfers your claim to us under section 398 of the German Civil Code (BGB). Only then can we enforce a contractual penalty or a tow on your behalf — without it, we can't act.

2. Trigger a contractual penalty

A stranger's car is in your space? The case is logged in a handful of steps:

1. On the start screen, tap “Contractual penalty”
2. Capture the licence plate with the camera or type it in
3. Take an evidence photo that clearly shows how the car is parked
4. If you like: read the QR code on the notice
5. If you like: add a remark
6. Confirm the location — that's it!

3. Have a vehicle towed

If the car has to go right now, for instance because it is blocking your exit or the charging point, the steps are almost the same:

1. On the start screen, tap “Tow”
2. Capture the licence plate with the camera or type it in
3. Take an evidence photo of the parking situation
4. If you like: add a remark
5. Confirm the location — we'll take it from there 🚓
